Magnesium is one of six “macro-minerals”, major minerals needed by the body in larger amounts. The other five major minerals are calcium, sodium, potassium, phosphorus and chloride.

Topically applied magnesium chloride enhances skin barrier function, decreases inflammation, speeds wound healing, and increases skin hydration. By including this in our Body Butter formula, we are only enhancing the benefits of the original product. 

The form of Magnesium we use in our formula looks a lot like table salt! 

How much Magnesium is included in the Body Butter? - Our Sleep Body Butter contains approximately 150mg of Magnesium Chloride per teaspoon. 

How much do I use? - We suggest using 1-2 teaspoons on the bottom of your feet before bedtime. However, the body butter is safe to apply anywhere you would typically moisturize.

Can I apply too much?  - If you happen to absorb more magnesium than is needed, your body will naturally eliminate the extra!

At what age is it safe to use? - We suggest talking to your doctor and your child's pediatrician if you have any specific questions or concerns.

We spent months creating the perfect lotion that you can use from your head to your feet, and even longer formulating our magnesium body butter.
Our Body Butter is unlike any store bought lotion you will ever find. We are very proud to share it with you all!

Benefits of using goat milk on skin:

Many people struggle with skin health, such as eczema. Goats milk lotion can be just as beneficial for healthy skin too!

Goat milk is known to aid skin that is troubled with more than just eczema. Folks with rosacea, KP, skin discoloration and more use goat milk products with great results!

Goat milk has lactic acid in it that is a known natural exfoliant. 

Goat milk itself is the closest thing matching our human skin pH and because of this it's not going to disrupt our skin's natural microbiome. 

Raw goat milk contains:
- Alpha Hydroxy Acids, which helps remove dead skin cells on the surface of your skin. This is done naturally without any chemicals!
-Vitamins, particularly Vitamin A which is crucial in repairing damaged skin and Vitamin B-12 that aids in regulating skin pigment. Vitamin B-12 also reduces UV damage. 
-CREAM! The fat molecules are an important part in making quality lotion! We don't skim the cream!

Ingredients:
Goat Milk, Water, Preservative, Emulsifying Wax, Steric Acid, Shea butter, Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter, Vitamin E, Fragrance Oil (if applicable) Magnesium Chloride 

*We ONLY use fragrance oils and ingredients sourced from Brambleberry- and they ONLY use Phthalate-Free Fragrance Oils. It is crucial for us to have a product we can all trust using. 

At times coconut oil can give a light "texture" to anything blended with it. Just rub it in and keep going! 

Storing details:

-Lotion does NOT need to be refrigerated, but should be used in approximately 6 months and stored out of the sunlight
-Warm temperatures above 85 might cause the lotion to melt. No worries, it's not ruined. It can be stirred and used.

For best results, store in a dry and dark space.
